Strategic Project Grant Guidelines

General Guidelines

Chariho Community Educational Project (CCSP) grants are funded by an endowment that is supported by The Community 2000 Education Foundation, The Chariho Rotary Club, The Rhode Island Foundation, and individuals and friends of the Chariho School System.  The purpose of the grants is to promote extracurricular learning opportunities within the Chariho School District.  CCEP grants work as follows:

  • Applications for CCSP grants will be requested in March and September of each year.
  • Projects may be created by individuals or by any combination of students, teachers, support personnel, parents, administrators and not-for-profit organizations.
  • Applications may come from any grade in any school in the Chariho Regional School District.
  • Awards will range up to $5,000.  The CCEP may change the award amounts for any grant period.

The recommendations of the CCSP Grant Review Committee are subject to the approval of the Rhode Island Foundation.

All applicants will be informed of the Grant Review Committee’s selections within two months of the application deadline date.  Funds will be available before the beginning of the following term.

Within the month after conclusion of your project, you must submit a brief report that indicates your success at meeting your projects objectives.
